Nice selection of affordable suits.
Service was not what we had hoped. Suit was sent out for alterations at first and came back looking worse, not better . We were told alterations were in house . First sales person said the sleeves didn't need shortening, we thought they did. In house taylor agreed. So a second round of alterations was needed to correct the first Taylor's mistakes and then to shorten sleeves. When we picked up the suit, it was better but still needed adjustments .we were out of time, needed it for an occasion. Ordering 5 weeks ahead seemed adequate. We were told the taylor would be there when we picked up in case we needed adjustments. He was not. Suit on pick up had loose threads on it and was not pressed. We paid approx. 600$ including alterations for a suit we were not completely happy with. We won't be returning.
My brother was fitted for my wedding. He was fitted by Robert who was fine up until the bill. Unlike other stores he said that my brother had to pay in full for the Tux rental 3 months in advance. When my brother said that the rest of us only had to pay a deposit, he said that this is store policy. The bill was also $30 more than what my group price was. I called the store I was dealing with in Massachusetts that said that company policy was that they take a $20 deposit and you pay the balance when you pick up the rental. The Massachusetts store told me that Robert would call my brother and apologize and refund him for the price except the $20 deposit, which is fine. My brother received a call from Robert and did not get an apology, instead Robert made it seem like he was doing my brother a favor rather than fix the mistake. Eventually the mistake was fixed but this is no way to treat customers. If I did not have such a great experience with the Massachusetts store I would have cancelled my wedding rental and gone somewhere else. I suggest to avoid the Southbury store. I know I will not use them and I suggest anyone to avoid that store.
I would never go back to this place people don’t have any clue what there doing. Very over priced. I went to Kens down the street very nice people outstanding job and prices will reccomend Ken’s clothing
