Another fantastic restaurant in Southbury. Cozy atmosphere, great food, beer selection, wines and cocktails. The service is always top notch. The staff is friendly and attentive and I have never eaten a meal here where I felt rushed. Family owned and the owners are almost always here. Great people. Come for a romantic meal or bring the whole family. Rathskeller's won't disappoint.
My son got married in Sept. Of 2017. We were recommended by a friend of a friend to have our Rehearsal dinner here. What an extraordinary time we had. We brought 20 people and we were served outdoors. The service was excellent and in such a timely manner. The food was delicious. We had gluten free people and vegan people as our guests. Everyone was so pleased. The fries are out of this world. I had a lobster roll that was unbelievable. We also were able to relax later and play some games like botchie, cornhole, beer pong etc. I highly recommend the Rathskeller for any event. Their staff kept in contact with me on a daily and then weekly basis all the way up until our event. They were so willing to accommodate our group. What a great experience! Many thanks to this fine establishment!
One of our family favorites! Great selection of beers on tap and amazing food... very cool spot; hidden away with a tavern vibe.
